The institution actively promotes Sponsored Research Projects and Grants supported by leading Government, semi-Government, and non-Government agencies, reinforcing its commitment to research excellence, innovation, and societal impact. Faculty and students are encouraged to secure competitive funding from premier bodies such as Department of Science and Technology, All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education Innovation Cell, Defence Research and Development Organisation, University Grants Commission, and Anusandhan National Research Foundation, along with professional bodies like IEEE and ISTE. These projects address national missions, industry challenges, and global research problems across engineering, sciences, healthcare, sustainability, digital transformation, and strategic technologies.
A defining strength of the institution’s sponsored research ecosystem is its deep integration with academic programs. Outcomes from funded projects are translated into curriculum enrichment, laboratories, student projects, doctoral research, publications, patents, and prototypes, directly supporting Outcome-Based Education and experiential learning. Through sustained funding engagement and collaborations, the institution enhances research productivity, infrastructure, and innovation capacity, while contributing meaningfully to Viksit Bharat @2047, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Digital India, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—positioning itself for global visibility, technology transfer, and long-term societal impact.
