Capacity Building Programmes
Vardhaman College of Engineering has conducted a wide spectrum of capacity building programmes aimed at strengthening research competencies, innovation capabilities, and industry readiness among faculty and students. These initiatives include workshops on research grant proposal writing, strategic academic writing, patent filing, and intellectual property management, along with expert sessions on global patent landscapes and consultancy practices. The institution has also organized specialized programmes on emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, renewable energy systems, cybersecurity, and technology translation. International interactions and expert engagements, including sessions on engineering pedagogy and community-based learning frameworks, have further enriched academic perspectives. In addition, orientation programmes with organizations such as NASSCOM and DST, along with innovation-driven activities like MSME Hackathon and research promotion schemes (VRPS), have significantly contributed to enhancing research skills, fostering innovation, and promoting a strong culture of interdisciplinary and translational research.
